CBES is a non-profit organization serving Northampton and Accomack counties on the Eastern Shore of Virginia. Since 1988, the organization has been a focal point for discussion of a wide range of important community issues. We work to bring sound information to our members, to develop citizen leaders and to encourage citizen participation in the Eastern Shore community. The CBES mission is:

The Eastern Shore Coalition Against Domestic Violence (ESCADV) is a non-profit, tax-exempt corporation established in 1983 to address the problem of domestic violence. SERVICES are FREE, CONFIDENTIAL and include: 24-hour hotline, 24-hour emergency shelter, Legal Advocacy, Crisis Intervention, Referral, Prevention and Community Outreach.
