Northampton County Education Foundation held its 12th Annual Golf Tournament

On October 12th, Northampton County Education Foundation (NCEF) held its 12th Annual Golf 
Tournament on the Palmer Course at Bay Creek Resort & Club.
Major sponsors of the tournament were Financial Security Advisory Inc., Therapeutic 
Interventions, and Cape Charles Yacht Center. Despite the impact of Tropical Storm Michael, 
the tournament was a huge success thanks to the Bay Creek Staff, and all the sponsors, auction 
bidders, players, special contributors and volunteers. 


Proceeds raised will support NCEF's work to mobilize resources and develop partnerships to 
support students, teachers, staff, and parents, and recognize teachers' outstanding 
accomplishments and contributions that improve educational outcomes the Northampton County 
Public School System.

The following are results of this year's tournament: 
• Winners of the First Flight – Ron Comeaux, Doug Lising, Deloris Becker, Doug Becker. 
• Winners of the Second Flight – Brian Tinder, Charlie Caudle, Matthew Caudle, Sam Gavin. 
• Winners of the Third Flight – Harold Rasmussen, Maxine Rasmussen, Rich Dorre, Kathy 
Dorre.

• Hole # 4 Women - Kathy Dorre 
• Hole # 7 Women - Deloris Becker 
• Hole # 12 Men - Charlie Caudle 
• Hole # 15 Men – Mark Greenley 


Longest Drive 
• Hole # 1 Women – Martina Coker 
• Hole # 6 Women - Deloris Becker 
• Hole # 11 Men - Bryce Adams 


The Awards Ceremony was held at the Bay Creek Beach Club and featured a silent auction, 
raffle, and door prizes consisting of donations from local businesses including dining and 
entertainment gift certificates and baskets.

The NCEF is a 501© (3) non-profit and its mission is to engage the community and mobilize resources to promote student performance and excellence in teaching in our public schools.
